Europe/UK breakdown cover for MH larger than 7m for Australian

Anyone help with a breakdown service to cover for Europe/UK? I have tried AA, RAC, Greenflag and Saga, none of which do over 7m long. I tried LV who do but they only except credit card from UK. I used Stirling for my insurance but can't do breakdown because the MH is too long.

Perhaps there is an European or International company that can do this?

Maybe no good for you as an Australian but I have European cover through my bank account. It covers up to 8 metres in Europe. Weirdly it is with the AA who don't go up to 8 metres in Europe on thier own policies. Anyway it's not them who do the recovery as they will farm it out to a local company.

Unfortunately, they can't help either. There's also a 31 day limit in Europe.

Caravan Guard does both insurance and up to 270 days breakdown cover in the EU. I don't know whether they can offer the breakdown cover separately but if not and you are really struggling you could maybe cancel your existing cover and insure through them?

thank you but I found one now: Driver Guardian Rescue. They only do 120 day trips but that should be ok. Plus I had the same hassle getting insurance cover in the first place. Happy now

Only if you have an EU address .


These people do breakdown but whether standalone or as part of there eu insurance cover,I've no idea?
