The more sophisticated they get, the more there is to go wrong.
I changed my battery yesterday, fitting an AGM 110 replacing an AGM 100. Ok! They are heavy and a bit awkward to manoeuvre but I got it in only to find the control panel showed "E. 1" accompanied by a red triangle. Ooer!
No mentiom of error codes in the Adria Manual so I rushed to the internet and after some time located Adria Control Panel Manual. I could hardly contain myself. What is more there was a recommendation from a club member (I do not know who and cannot find it again). They asked for details of my bank card but would not take money as the Manual is free ???? but it had been recommended by a member. They gave some odd reason for needing it. I was desperate to fix the control panel only to find the site rejected my card???? At this point I checked up on the company, BOTMEDIAZ.COM not good! I panicked, mislaid my glasses, upset my wife, fumbled with the phone to cancel my card. The Bank responded seemingly walking through glue while these wicked people were emptying my bank account. They checked my statement, nothing wrong, card cancelled. Shaking with relief I now went back to my laptop to check further and immediately got the blue screen of death. After checking every button without effect I went to my PC and got lots of blind alleys until eventually got my laptop running. It took me so long sorting things out it was getting late for going to the shops. Got into my car and found it flat, no battery power as I had left every electrical device switched on for the 10 days I had been away. There was more but I have had a bad day.

Must have been a bad day if you wasted money on an AGM battery, totally unsuitable for leisure use.

Deep breaths ..... don’t panic , your money is safe the rest might take a while to sort but you and the wife are okay.... give her a long hug and sleep on it,,,,,,,, the problem that is

Stuff happens. Have another relaxed coffee this morning before you start resolving this further.

We've all had days like that but you'll laugh about it next time you are sat with a glass of good plonk looking at the sunset over the sea.

The handbook for this vehicle states that wet, lead acid batteries are "not allowed" I am therefor guessing that the electroblok may not have a switch to change battery types but too late now, I paid £160 for a 120 ah AGM battery with 600 recharges.

Probably because it's not vented, type of battery is normally restricted by the charging profile. Most chargers can accept more than one type of battery.
The problem with AGM's is if you camp off grid they just don't last, our last van had them, lasted 18 months, replaced with Gels, current van got rid of AGM and fitted 3 Gels.

Don't understand as you say you changed an AGM for another AGM.

My original AGM had died:cry:
Yes but that shouldn't have made any difference to your panel settings, you just changed one type of battery for another of the same type.

It could be because its been powered down. When I remove the batteries or alter the settings on my control panel, it then wants to be plugged into the mains and left alone to calibrate it’s self for a while. Worried me hugely the first time after that I now know it does it.

It sure left me worried as I also got "E.P" and "E.PP". The Saturday staff at Brownhills sorted those two out. E.P refers to pump, which had also stopped working. To solve this if you ever have a problem is to press the tap symbol followed by the water, waste and temperature buttons. The message "OFF" came on. I repeated the four buttons and "ON" appeared followed by the tap gushing water
