Looks like I need a new starter battery.
What do knowledgeable funsters advise on the best product to purchase?
It is a stop/start battery.
I would like the greatest capacity in terms of Ah and cranking available.

I'm with pappajohn if the one that's on tbe van now was doing it's job why have a bigger 1

How long has the original lasted? If it's a reasonable life just go with the same spec again as for the start stop the battery should be specced to cope leave it on it won't operate unless the battery is charged anyway.

Stop/start.
If a starter and battery operates 5000 times in its lifetime then using stop/start may use the same battery and starter 25000 times......and that's a lot of unnecessary wear and tear and will shorten the lifetime considerably.
(Times as example only)

Press the off button for the Start/stop system. I hate it on the car especially when you've got the AC on or headlights. The engine is a multipurpose device that needs to stay on... I'll decide if it needs to go off! 🤔 Bloody computers
