LYON BANS DIESELS BY 2026
The city of Lyon has already banned any vehicles that have a Crit’Air (fuel emissions) badge of category 4 or higher with commercial vehicles displaying category 3 being further restricted <Broken link removed>. The city is gradually increasing the area of its’ Low Emissions Zone & it has now announced that it intends to completely ban diesel vehicles on its roads from January, 2026 with only vehicles having a Crit’Air badge of 0 or 1 being allowed within the city limits.
