I’ve got a problem with my fridge working on gas, surprise surprise, it‘s only has a very small flame (nice and blue) on any setting apart from just below 5, stuff not frozen in freezer compartment.

I’ve clean cleaned the jet and burner out ( a bit of rust in that) , flue is very clean.

I’m wondering if it’s possibly a slight blockage in the gas valve and if anybody has cleaned the gas valve out.

Try blowing air back through it using an airspray can used for cleaning keyboards or similar,or a bendy straw to blow through.

Thanks for al the suggestions, I’ve now removed the gas valve to burner pipe and used compressed air to blow back up the pipe and then disconnected the gas feed from the manifold and blown compressed air through the gas valve up to the manifold pipe.
Reassembled and it’s now got a good flame on setting 3.👍

Well it’s now gone from only working on no 5 , now it’s getting getting very cold regardless of the setting, control knob doesn’t change anything, it’s now on 1 and the fins inside are covered in ice.🤷🏻

Are you sure the control knob is working? On mine, there is a thin plastic spindle that connects the knob to the actual control on the circuit board (called a potentiometer or pot). You don't have to be especially ham-fisted to snap it. If the knob rotates freely, and doesn't meet a definite stop at both ends, then the spindle could be snapped.

I’m ham fisted but mine an old type with a mechanical gas valve, so I think it must be turning the regulator
