electric windows

sometimes the windows work sometimes thy do not
there is a loud clicking fiat ducato autorail 2004

If the clicking is coming from the door and you can feel it through the window glass it would suggest the lift mechanism has failed. Clicking elsewhere will be a relay.

I had a similar problem with my 2004 Fiat. I never found the problem but simply removing and replacing the fuse seemed to cure it every time. Weird???
