I have a rapido 985m knowing next to nothing about electrics on the van I have plugged into the mains at home on my control panel it is showing that its attached but all the duel 12v / 240v outlets such as water pump, lights, fridge are not working all sockets are working any ideas what I should check I have checked circuit breakers under bed and leisure batteries

There will be another box somewhere that has several connectors to distribute the 12V supplies with a row or two of 12V fuses. It is often hidden away in a cupboard or locker. This box may or may not have a switch for the 12V power - some do, some don't. If you can find it and post a picture of it that will help.

Motorhome electrics are set up so that all the important bits - lights, water pump, fridge control, heater controls etc all work from a 12V leisure battery. When plugged into a mains hookup, there will be a charger that charges the leisure battery and keeps it topped up. Apart from the 240V sockets, your MH should work just as well in the middle of a field as it does when plugged into hookup.

Has the 12V side of things ever worked OK? If you're new to this, maybe there's a switch somewhere to turn on the 12V power.

Check the fuse next to the battery most likely a 50amp mega fuse.
Fridge etc need a 12v supply for the control board even if on 230v or gas.
There will only be one 230v fusebox.
It's unlikely there will be two separate circuits for the 230v sockets so if some aren't working there must be a different fault

I have looked for another fuse board but can't find it the 12v and 240v were all working fine in November

Do you mean the leisure battery or the engine battery

Have checked leisure battery area found one fuse I don't know if it was a large one but it was fine

Both batteries, actually. At the leisure battery there should be a big fuse, as pappajohn says. Maybe 30A or 50A. There may also be a small 2A fuse next to it.

At the starter battery there should be a similar fuse, 30A or 50A probably. Also near it may be a 20A fuse for the fridge 12V power when the engine is running, and possibly another one or two 2A fuses too.

What make/model is the control panel? It would help if you could post a picture it.

If the fuses check out OK, the next thing is to try to take a reading of the leisure battery voltage with a multimeter.

Thanks for all your support but it looks like a trip to the dealer for me as I haven't really got a clue:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

I haven’t got a clue either……..but on my Rapido there is a switch on the box of electrickery in the garage and this has got turned off by mistake more than once, causing me a moment or two of panic! I now know to be more careful how I store things in the garage so that it’s contents don’t knock against this box of magic tricks.

While you are there, get the dealer to show you where the distribution/fusebox for the 12V system is. If it's a 'Scheiber' system, there are a few emergency functions that could be useful, like a button to retract the step. Does it say 'Scheiber' on the control panel?
