Morning everyone,

Anyone ever fitted one of these? I am getting too old to be grubbing underneath the bus to find the dump pull handle - which is sticking anyway, and getting hard to pull/push in.

Our local workshop says that they are expensive and break easily. I trust them, but I wanted the user view.

What are people's experiences?

Cheers,

Got the same problem and was going to do the same but then got thinking a 12 volt macerator pump and have fitted one which I had a thread on here about it, and it works brilliant, I will try to find it for you.

I fitted one a few weeks ago. Works very well. I'd strongly recommend fitting a suitable reversing camera at the same time, with a switch between normal reverse and waste-cam. Otherwise, you'll be in and out of the cab trying to position it over the waste dump. Also, have a switch from the driver's position. When you use a grating style dump, you can drive over and dump without even taking your seatbelt off.

Thanks all,

Got a camera! Could I ask what type of valve you fitted?

Also, Steve and Denise, have you a link to the thread by Ditcha, I can't find it.

Thanks.
