If you aren't going to use the step, as in your other thread, just unbolt it and remove altogether.
You can always put it back when it's time to sell.
Nobody knew where the fuse was on the other thread so I doubt this one will get any results either.

That’s a bit drastic if I may say so , if all other enquiries fail , her indoors will have to get to like it !!!

Try the Vehicle Interface Unit - If you have one it's a small unit located at floor level behind the drivers’ seat. The unit houses fuses for the fridge, vehicle battery, radio and other systems. It also provides connections for the optional tow bar harness.

I think you would stand a better chance contacting Autotrail. They install the Sargent equipment, not Sargent.

Good point, but as sargent make the wiring looms they should know where on the system it is fused... unfortunately my discussions with autotrail direct have not been very fruitful. trying to speak to the right person is a nightmare

I emailed Autotrail and they don’t bother answering and Sargent haven’t answered yet either

Would it not be easier to just book it in with a mobile bloke and get him to put a switch in the line.

Anyone know how to disable electric step on 2019 Autotrail Apache 634,(wife prefers freestanding step) cheers guys

It appears your wife is all for the idea of a caravan step
