Ebay??

Scam I would of thought

A possible scam.
I would ask them if you could come and see it, the chances are that they will come out with some fairy story that means you can't, offer to deliver if you pay a deposit, that you can pay the balance if you are happy.......but they will never turn up having taken goodness knows how many deposits.

Defo looks like a scam, loads on Ebay...

Subscribers  do not see these advertisements

Been going on for many years, usually the same seller has cars, boats, tractors etc. listed, all with photos and descriptions 'lifted' from elsewhere. If you ask to view the m/h the seller will decline with innovative excuses such as: working abroad, on an oil rig, has a broken leg etc. etc.
That seller has around 50 others listed if you click on 'See other items'.
Several folk have followed up the ads out of devilment. Many threads if you use the 'Search' facility, including how the seller makes money and how to detect a scam but I'm not inclined to type out all the process again when a search will suffice.;)

Funnily enough ive seen loads on ebay ridiculously cheap, .... im always lookin on ebay and its quite common... dont know what they gain from it tho🤷‍♀️

On my iphone, clicked on the link and ebay says “ item and listings removed”! 😳
Of course it says that. It has been reported previously.
I 'trade' in vintage motorbikes so use eBay (and Autotrader) a lot and I and a couple of my trader chums report a scam maybe every ten days. It would probably be more frequently if I searched more often.

Page has gone , maybe ebay is listening

Only posted my response because a number of members said they had “ had a look at it”, and I just wondered how they had done this IF its been removed?
This in the last 45 mins?
