I recently installed a Snipe 3 satellite, it does not come with a receiver, so I had to order an STB (set top box), the one I ordered is better explained by the attached picture, a picture paints a thousand words. I seem to remember it was Amazon and cost about £20.00, compliments the Snipe 3 perfectly, and small too.

well spotted Gellyneck, you'll notice that it also has T2 capabilities, we visit Germany quite a lot and now their TV is T2, not just digital, so this receiver also gets German TV, so if we are somewhere in amongst trees (no satellite reception) we can switch over to terrestrial.

Had seen this when fitting our Snipe but decided that we need a new tv anyway so got one with built in T2 and S2 tuners.

There's various Cello \ Ferguson models (same company - different brands) that operate on 12v \ 230v depending on the functionality you want. We've got a F24230FT2S2 - 12V.
