What with lockdown last year and not much movement this year it looks like my cab battery is defunct,anyone suggest a decent replacelement .

Go for a quality battery and make sure it comes fully charged or you may get the dreaded air bag ECU failure.

It can happen very easily with a dodgy battery. Does depend on age of the vehicle, which I do not know.

My Yuasa HSB019 from Halfords (recommended by another Funster) does the job a treat.

I recently fitted a Bosch S5 type 19. Good spec and cheapest was Amazon £109 incl del. Cheaper than Tayna and Cheaper than Varta batteries.
