That is precisely what i was looking for a few months ago. I could find nothing totally suitable.I am looking at fitting a fixed step to the front cab door to assist my wife to get in passenger seat
Why not just use the hab door I only ever use our driver's door for fuel stops the rest of the time we use the hab door.Sorry if I didn't make it clear, but I am looking at fitting a fixed step at the front cab door on the passenger side to make it easier for my wife to get in and out of the passenger seat
Thanks for previous comments
I fitted ours because the wife is only 4ft 6 and the cab step is way too high for her the main reason was .. When you get to the Toll booths in France they ate too high or too low to put the card in so the wife has to get out each time ..Why not just use the hab door I only ever use our driver's door for fuel stops the rest of the time we use the hab door.
To be fair, that would be have a toss up between a new and taller wife and a new step for me!.I fitted ours because the wife is only 4ft 6 and the cab step is way too high for her the main reason was .. When you get to the Toll booths in France they ate too high or too low to put the card in so the wife has to get out each time ..
Cheaper to get an electronic tag, then you don’t have to stop at all!I fitted ours because the wife is only 4ft 6 and the cab step is way too high for her the main reason was .. When you get to the Toll booths in France they ate too high or too low to put the card in so the wife has to get out each time ..
Humour bypass alert! The thread is about side steps ...
Used to be standard fitment on Autocruise's. last time I looked for similar they were in the 300- 400 £a pair range for similar.Sorry if I didn't make it clear, but I am looking at fitting a fixed step at the front cab door on the passenger side to make it easier for my wife to get in and out of the passenger seat
