Ducato cab steps

charliesgrandad I believe these are popular, not cheap.

I have seen one example of a manual step but no info about it or even how to use it

If you go for an electric slide out get the Thule the Project 2000 ones are crap, I know I've got one.
Bear in mind it will reduce your ground clearance quite a bit.

That is precisely what i was looking for a few months ago. I could find nothing totally suitable.
The nearest i could find was

Silver also available.
This would require considerable modification. If the end caps were removable it may be feasible, However the company wouldn't confirm this. I just need someone to put their hand in their pocket and prove the end cap is removable and i would then try it.😎

Why not just use the hab door I only ever use our driver's door for fuel stops the rest of the time we use the hab door.

I fitted ours because the wife is only 4ft 6 and the cab step is way too high for her the main reason was .. When you get to the Toll booths in France they ate too high or too low to put the card in so the wife has to get out each time ..

To be fair, that would be have a toss up between a new and taller wife and a new step for me!. ;)

Cheaper to get an electronic tag, then you don’t have to stop at all!

Thanks for info and photo, would you mind giving me the measurements from bottom of door to top of step so I could mock something up to that height so the wife could try it before I buy

I've looked at those but they don't appear to stick out very far , they look like you'd need to put your feet on sideways getting out

I'm considering getting one of these for the passenger side as it looks more like a platform , if you leave the site a 5% coupon pops up so about £325 deliverd
