I have a VW Transporter campervan. Like many owners, I am also on the T6forum, an excellent resource for any Transporter owner, and like MHF, very welcoming and friendly.
One of the frequent topics on T6f is suspension. Yes, many VW owners want big wheels and a lowered look, but many including campervan owners just want a more comfortable, stable, car-like ride.
One of the most respected trade members on the T6f is CRS Performance, based in Cannock.
They don't do silly lows, but are experts in suspension, not only for Transporters but for race cars and all sorts. Many happy Transporter owners, including myself, have had the CRS treatment. In my case, it has transformed the driveability of my van. No it isn't a car, but it is light years ahead of what it was as OEM.
Why am I posting this? Well, Steve at CRS has said they are now doing significant numbers of larger vans, including Ducato /Boxer and Sprinter.
If you want to improve the handling and drive of your PVC, call Steve to see what he can offer.
It always seemed odd to me that almost all of the MHF threads on improving motorhome suspension focused on the springs, when it is the shocks that are the most important factor.
I do not know anything about the products that CRS will recommend for the larger vans. But I do know that they are expert in what they do, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to you. I have no connection to CRS apart from being a very satisfied customer.
