I know this has been covered many times but just to set minds at rest mine came on around 28000 miles and went off about 28800 approx.
No limp home, no problems.
The vehicle gets serviced annually.

Early X250 2008 reg ,130 bhp

This is what research told me, nice to see it happen.

Is it a ducatti like foggy used to ride

Never heard of a service reminder going off after it’s come on (n)

Is it true that you can remove the service reminder light by using a sequence of interactions with ignition and foot pedals?

Not with the x250 and probably later variants certainly, it's wait like I did or get a garage with on OBD reader to do it

My 2003 Ducato service light could be turned off by doing some fiddling with the key and dashboard etc. My 2007 Ducato service light did go off by itself after around 1000 miles. Both times Fiat forgot to reset the light so it came on in between actual services. So, for the OP I think everything working as it should.
