My 1991 Hymer 534 Fiat Ducato 280 1.9 Turbo Diesel is over at @dave newell lvs. It needs a new rightside driveshaft, intermediate support bearing, and support bracket. Dave's sourced a driveshaft but hasn't found the intermediate support bearing and support bracket.

Any ideas? Really hoping to get this done asap.

The bearing can be got from any bearing supplier if you have the number .I changed mine last year ,think it was. I'll see whether I can find the number for the bearing.

The bearing is a 6006-2RS measures 55mm x 30mm x 13mm
I also have noted down a seal measuring 50mm x 35mm x 8mm but can't remember that so you will have to wait until I have a look in the morning.
As to the support bracket itself I have no idea & think you will struggle in the Uk unless you can find one in a scrap yard. I can probably find one here as it is still a commonly used van.
If it is not completely destroyed or just exceedingly worn where the bearing has collapsed/rotated in its housing maybe having a sleeve machined to fit inside would help. Or even one made from a complete new steel billet ?

Yes the bearing is as I posted .6006-2RS measures 55mm x 30mm x 13mm
Not sure that the seal is anything to do with it ? Can't remember to be honest & looking I can't see why there'd be a seal in a housing with a sealed bearing ?
The bearing goes on the shaft first , followed by the collar. Then the support housing with the bolts located & the support housing can then be pulled over the bearing using the washer & nuts then the whole assembly can be relocated in the diff & outer wheel hub & the suport housing bolted back to the engine.

**sorry here is mine

Thanks! What vehicle is yours?

Our Hymer is being moved to Gear Tech in Midlands, who will take a look at it on Friday and see if they can find the parts themselves. If not, I'll give them your part numbers.

Mine is a 1,9 non turbo. Is the support housing badly damaged or destroyed then ? I assume it must be if you need a new half shaft .

The support bearing is completely missing, presumably it came out of the support bracket but nobody noticed. The shaft has been thrashing around in the support bracket and has worn half way through the shaft, the bracket must therefore be worn to a similar level. We can get a complete shaft but not the support bracket. Will be i interesting to see what gear tech can come up with. Box whines like a spoiled brat in fourth gear. Our biggest concern is that the gearbox casings may well be damaged beyond repair.
