Dover protests

Anyone heading down to Dover, do take care as there have been clashes regarding illegal immigration. The A20 was closed earlier today, but has opened again but still quite a large police presence etc.

I forgot about it this morning going home in the van from Sussex, I went into the BP station and got joking with a policeman from NORFOLK , there were 3 van loads of them, to back up Kent/Essex. Nothing much mostly mouth and trouser argie-bargie from the anti protesters. After I got home though.

Even without protests, whenever I am going to Dover Car Ferry, if coming down the M20 I shift across to the M2/A2 at Detling so that I get an easy run in at Dover, down the hill to the roundabout then 2nd exit is the port entrance. Saves the slow traffic along the sea front road.
