Thought I'd share my double skillet experiment that turned out quite successfully tonight (and I've been told I can make it again).

2 chicken breasts in a cooking bag doused in a paprika seasoning (or bbq seasoning).

1 corn on the cob with a bit of butter wrapped in aluminium foil.

parboiled potato pieces (unpeeled) and shaken in a little oil.

Put it all in the preheated heated oven arrangement on a very low heat with diffuser rand cook for 40 minutes. Just forget it and open the wine.

To be fair, it's barely enough for two so next time I'd forget the corn on the cob and use the skillet in two layers and steam more veg in the top one.

Now I've shared a good recipe, how about sharing one of yours?

Not cruel! As I posted recently - I bought mine half price on ebay. Too mean to pay full price. Sounds as if I did the right thing. Hopefully your DSs are on the way to you now.

Oh dear, I seem to have touched a nerve with some of you. Would paracetamol help? Perhaps we DS owners could rent ours out for a reasonable fee excl p&p of course which I rhink was about £7.50.

Seriously though, I do hope they turn up soon. None of us have money to throw away.
