DOT Markings

Good afternoon,
Further to discovering that the front tyres are 12 years old I checked the rear tyres. The DOT mark is DOT HWN9 ETFO.
Could anyone shed light upon the meaning of this.

Maybe some kind of internal code but nothing to do with tyre age.
Tyre age 'tag' will be on its own, probably on the inner side of the tyre.

DOT HWN9 ETFO.

That is the code for the factory they were made in. Age code is normally on the inside wall.
