Door hinges

The habitation door on our Imala sounds like something from the Hammer House of Horror. Any thoughts on a lubricant. I don't really want to use WD40 as I think it will be too messy on a light coloured interior

I use "muck off" drylube. Its for my bike but seems to do the job and you can just put small drops in the hinge joints.

I use silicone spray (the same one i use for the cassette seal).
Soray a tiny bit onto the hinge joint then open and close the door 5 or 6 times. Wipe off any excess, job done. While you are at it spray a bit on the door damper arm if you have one.

Squirt some wd40 into a milk bottle to or similar and apply it to the hinge with a paintbrush
Just hold a tissue below to catch drips
