Hi

Last week my leisure battery seemed to give up the ghost. It stank of rotten eggs and was very hot. I disconnected this as we usually use the mains on site.
However, maybe connected, maybe not, at the same time my fridge will not work on the 230V setting.
1st the light just flashed on off with a clicking noise (see video) then it stopped completely.

I have located 1 fuse on the PCB behind the main control but it is ok.

Does it sound like a new PCB? I have seen a few videos where there was a different fuse located around the back of the fridge but I cannot see this.

Are these PCBs available or generally difficult to get?

Thanks

Justin

with no battery the 12v control board supply won't work

Thanks. I was thinking that could be the case. So I was thinking about putting a 12VDC supply in instead of the battery.

I could maybe test using the car connected for the 12VDC?

As the big one says. The control circuitry needs a 12v supply to work. However if you battery is hot and smelly it must be replaced tout suit. (With a new one I mean)

I had been trying to trace the wiring out based on a diagram I found in the caravan when we got it. I'm not even sure this is relevant. It says Manhattan 99 on it but our van is a Lunar Quasar. Is there a good place to try and get Lunar schematics? They don't seem to exist any more..?

I like the idea of a 12V power supply even a small UPS as we never go off grid.
