the locks on the above fridge freezer keep jamming, especially on the freezer. We have taken it apart (the lock) and there are two tiny pieces of plastic either side of the hook. I think they are broken. Any tips on how to do a permanent repair.....cos I currently have two handy men (son and Grandson) that could carry out repairs! TYIA.

I had a similar problem on our Dometic RMD 8505 and found that a compression spring inside the lock had broken. I was helped out by this thread.....

They are utter rubbish.
Long term solution I saw the other day on some one elses MH was simply to fit a spinning latch on a mounting base which brought it just level with the door frames onto the frame between the two door at the opening end that turned... ie when vertical it held them both shut for travel, but when turned to horizontal it allowed both to be opened.
Very elegant solution I thought.
This sort of thing.....
