Hi folks. My broker sorted an insurance deal last year of £800 (equity red star for new A class of 65k. Some I spoke to said it was excessive. Now due for renewal, with 1 year no claims it has gone up by £80. :Eeek: I have gone on line to get further quotes without much success (except for one of £1020 !!

I know all insurances are going up right now but does this compare with anyone else out there as I'm running out of time!!!!

My MH is nowhere near the value of yours and quite rightly you have not declared your driver details but I am insured with AXA through Insurance Factory tel. 08450060190.
Give them a phone but remember to compare your current cover details with anything offered to ensure you are getting like for like cover.
    Hope this helps.

In a word yes:Eeek:.Lots of insurance co's out there so try a few :thumb:Also tell your broker it is too much and see what else he comes up with

Sureterm do not use no claims but are very keen on price - also if you have a bigger no claims bonus on the car ask about MIRRORING, some co's give the same bonus as you have on the car

We found Safeguard very good and get full UK and Continental breakdown with it.

Insured the Euro MH with them and now the RV

    Might be worth a call 0800 977 5953

    Cheers

Comfort Motorhome Insurance is always worth a call, as they specialise in Motorhome Insurance. If you are in any of the clubs it is worth pointing this out when you are inquiring because you can get extra discount with some of them including Motorhome Fun,.

    Hi jetset gypsey
Try Comfort Insurance, underwritted by Norwich Union, my rapido is similar value to yours, I do have a tracker fitted but the premium inc 365 days european cover and uk & european breakdown cover is £342 with £200 excess. I was quoted a similar premium to yours by The Caravan Club. I think they were having a laugh.

    Many many thanks!!!!!

Well folks, that was well work the asking. I am now fully insured with a 200 excess and 70 on the screen (lord help me if the window went on the 'goldfish bowl' of a windscreen :whatthe:) and Frankpickles have saved me a very cool £430 quid on my original cover ::bigsmile:. More than enough to pay to replace the bathroom taps that have blown in the exceptionally cold weather! Sheesh, we have to have pretty deep pockets with this motorhome lark'

So many thanks to all for offering advice. Most appreciated :thumb:
