It’s a new model Dometic RMS 10.5T double hinged under the counter fridge

No, normally just see a blue flame looks like something is getting too hot. Could be just some carbon/soot glowing.
I would take the burner out and give it a clean, worth cleaning the chimney at the same time.

Thanks Lenny I thought something was amiss , I noticed the fridge didn’t seem to be as cold as I thought it should have been
A job for tomorrow I think

Further thoughts you say its a new fridge and it looks new. Have you filled up your LPG in France as I have heard of a few problems with fridges sooting up due to higher levels of oily residues in the gas.
I've not had any problems myself but I know others have.

No it’s just U.K. LPG in a Safefill cylinder, I do have a Truma gas filter in-line to stop the residue finding it’s way into the system

I concur, French gas is chuffing dirty. My old fridge chimney was proof with 5yrs on local gas (very clean, hardly need to service) vs 5yrs on French gas which was the opposite.
