Our van is kept in storage, so it’s difficult to keep it clean. These seem to get good write ups on you tube, I know they are not as powerful as a power washer but I just need ability to operate away from electric and tap. Anyone got one and can advise?
Thanks
Bill

Can't help with the washer but Worx are a good manufacturer. They supply many of the brands with their products and I've got quite a few Worx products in the garage. They're not full-on trade quality, but very good DIY level

I've washed a van very successfully using a conventional drop-in pump plugged into a cig lighter socket. A 6ft jet is easily possible with an adjustable nozzle on the end of a piece of hose.

Give your partner a bucket, sponge and set of steps for their birthday, keep a first aid kit at hand though.

Have one for when I go out on my trials bike.
take a couple of 5 gallon containers of water.
Not as powerful as I thought it would be but I washes the mud off ok.

Would think it would be ok to pre-wash the van with the power washer then a bucket with some soap in and go over with a brush or sponge then power wash off.
Don’t think this washer will shift dry dirt very good.

Thanks, enough power to wash down a camper van?

I don't have one but, there appears to be a new more powerful one in the pipeline, I couldn't find one from UK sellers but here is a link to the newer model on Amazon.com. There are you tube reviews on it.

I bought one of these last year for washing motorbike. Pretty good but not as powerful as a 240v unit. Reckon the run time is 20 minutes but then you have to wait for the battery to recharge which is a couple of hours. In long run I don't think its worth the bother unless you just want to do a quick swill down.

Had ours for a couple of years now and find it more useful for wetting the van before cleaning with a brush on an extending pole and then washing off after with clean water.
I bought a cheap Chinese battery for it to extend it's usable time to do the van.

Just a thought. Because the same battery powers other Worx tools it can be bought with or without a battery so make sure that you buy one with a battery unless you have other Worx tools.

As per the other replies, it's good for bikes and rinsing the van after giving it a normal wash but not powerful enough for ingrained dirt. I bought an additional battery which came with a fast charger and also a snowfoam attachment which I haven't used yet but I'm happy with it. Plus with it not being as powerful as a mains-powered model it shouldn't damage any seals!
