It’s to save Electricity because it’s bloody cold in UK at this time of yearYes, for some reason they never like to leave the door open.
My bros Wildax whoosh bang door covers the fridge vent so he either has to close/open the door to regulate the vent or the fridge turns off
opening the door window sort of works sometimes
It's a 2020ish Constellation XL 3 on the Citroen base if that means anything? Our fridge is on the opposite side of the door in our Wildax, I wonder what the differences are in layout by model
Ours is a Solaris XL on the Citroen but no I don't know what the differences are. I'd be interested to see though so I'll take a look! It's a 2020ish Constellation XL 3 on the Citroen base if that means anything?
We now have a PVC and i would say compared to a coachbuilt normal motorhome that has access to various hatches for outside storage yes....go in and out of them more often than folk with normal motorhomes?

Because we know all you non whoosh bangers are lying there listening for it and we know you get upset if we do not satisfy your needs...Why is it they are quiet all even then at 11pm they start woosh banging their door every 15 min until about 1 am and then start again at 6 am.
Side door also covers our fridge vents but I have never had trouble with fridge switching offMy bros Wildax whoosh bang door covers the fridge vent so he either has to close/open the door to regulate the vent or the fridge turns off

My woosh bang IS my normal motorhome....go in and out of them more often than folk with normal motorhomes?

It's the noise of the whoosh-bang door that sets them off.unless the van next door has screaming kids or barking dog
Where's the fun in thatI don’t have any back doors and don’t woosh bang my sliding door. If outside I slide it slowly till it’s nearly shut then push at the rear of the door where the locking mechanism is and it clicks almost silently locked.
From the inside I do the same but lock it with a handle I retro fitted. It closes quieter than most coach builds.

There is an Italian kit you can buy not cheapJust wondering which PVC converter fits the electric soft close side door? I know I have seen them, but cannot remember which van it was on.
Might be a great opportunity for someone to supply & fit an aftermarket product, or supply only for the DIY market.
But I guess it might spoil the fun for some.

After market electric door closers are available for most whoosh bangs but they really need to be fitted during conversion because the mechanism is fairly large and would require the total rebuild/design of any fixtures and fittings in the area of door and a good way behind door..Just wondering which PVC converter fits the electric soft close side door? I know I have seen them, but cannot remember which van it was on.
