We have a disabled booking on the Bilbao ferry on thurday. We want to change the booking as we are in lockdown here in Benidorm and with car not motorhome. We have been trying for two days to contact Brittany Ferries with no luck. We cannot do it online due to being disabled. The hotel we had booked on way to Bilbao has closed till april the second. { cannot drive 500 miles in one day

Might be too late but can anyone offer overnight acommodation half way?

I phoned Brittany Ferries yesterday succesfully, I had to hold for 45 minutes once I got through, just need to perservere

If it is that close to sailing you cannot amend on line, on Sunday we tried to amend a crossing Roscoff Plymouth on Tuesday (now today) for our next door neighbours, they were racing up from the Algarve and were able to get to Roscoff in time for Monday ferry. Fortunately they were able to change it themselves and are now safely home

Changed ours yesterday
You need to ring the number on the bottom of your ticket and wait, they will answer (20 mins for us)

Before you ring ,go on their website and find a future ferry that suits you, go as far as pay now to ensure you can get on it
Have Your present booking referance
Have your credit card ( they will refund your present sailing , and recharge your future sailing)
Have the details of your future sailing

if you do not change you may lose all moneys already paid
By changing your booking ASAP it also gives somebody already at the port a better chance of filling your place

The number to ring is. 00 44 (0) 330 159 7000. And wait
?

Another problem for them is that they need en route accommodation when they do get through to BF and get a ferry date.
Can anyone between Benidorm and the ports suggest places that might be able to put them up overnight ? It seems an impossible situation for them.
woodstock , I would ask your travel insurance company for help.

is it worth contacting the local British Consul? They are supposed to help. Many years ago, I was under 20, I got to Calais and found my return ticket missing, I had no money so went to the Consul and after checking my ID they cashed a cheque for me. They will help if they can
