Dimly lit DRL’s on 2014 Fiat Ducato Autotrail

A new issue for me on the latest trip - the Daytime Running Lights (DRL’s) on my Autotrail Tracker are constantly dimly lit irrespective of whether the engine is on, off, or the van is plugged in. When the engine is started, the lights go to the normal bright light level.
I’ve tried switching the DRL’s off on the Ducato menu, but that has no effect.
Can anyone offer advice or a suggested solution please?

LED Running Lights

LED running lights on 2014 Dakota Within the cluster of running lights the first three are out. Removed the cover and the pressed metal carrier holding the bulb units in place. Nothing apparent with the wiring as all are wired in line with no noticeable breakages. Any advice gratefully received.

I did notice the control \ driver unit for the DRL's was up under the windscreen scuttle on the nearside wheel arch and was subject to water ingress through the scuttle which we addressed. Maybe water has got into the driver box giving your problem?
