Always learning.
Hi All, quick question,,the MH has 225s on the rear and 215s on the front, does anyone have any ideas as to why that would be? Thanks in advance.

It may have been to uprated the rear axle load. We had to fit 225’s to the rear when we uprated ours but chose to fit them to the front also, not required but it felt right to have them all matching.

Yep, I’ve checked the plates and they should be 225s all round, but now I’m inclined to change the fronts to match, which is a shame because they all in good nick , I just couldn’t understand why the previous owner would have put them on,,,thanks for your input(y)

The previous owner maybe didn't even know they were different.
A unscrupulous tyre fitter my have not had stock of 225's so fitted what they had.

There's no illegality in running the ones you have.
Added later (With the caution that the front ones are fit for purpose loadwise)

As you are aware of it, why not use the tyres on the front as they
are now and save the pennies.
