Did anyone go to the Yorkshire Show?

We watched the You Tubes of Travel Trolls and Bob Earnshaw and it didn't look packed though Bob does get in early and, at the end of one of his
Vlogs there did seem to be quite a lot coming in. Interesting watching both to see the social distancing and mask wearing.

Was that the one showing people around the van that was sold ? I don’t think I would like something that I have brought being used for herds of people to bang, push and shove around in it.

I think Bob did and after he had gone round they were going to rope it off

Went Sunday, nice to be out.
after seeing the aforementioned VLOGs, perhaps as we expected little we were pleasantly surprised
Arrived about 11 and they had run out of programs.
yes there was a lack of vans, but with the market as it is, I was surprised how many still for sale Sunday pm.
trader numbers down, but again when for 12 months people have been buying online and the most of the motorhome bloggers encourage it, why as a trader would you pay to attend when the costs on line are much cheaper.

also why discount, when there is a demand with increased sales, and some may have had stock and little income recently!

people were wearing masks in the hall, but many didnt when in vans, even though signs asked us to do so.

hope people support other shows and traders, otherwise the new norm may be no shows.......

We traded at the show, footfall was good. Masks were worn indoors and it was enforced.
Some traders have quit shows, new ones have started.
Good range of accessories but a lot of large motorhome dealers are not attending shows. Why would they when they have little stock and can sell from their home base. There was however still a decent display for those who are just deciding and want to look round layouts.

Roll on Peterborough..........

We were happy to be there and we wore masks whenever they were needed.
Must be the nerd in me as l am very happy with the van l have but still feel the need to look 🤔Not a lot of traders there but l was impressed with the models made by S and L motorhomes, l asked if their name meant Selby and Leeds as they are build close by but no it stands for Steve and Linda 👍
