Does anyone use one of these for tyre inflation, I am considering purchasing one as I have other De Walt tools so a charger and batteries are not a problem. Do not want to spend the money if they are no good for the motorhomes high tyre pressures.

If you have the rest of the gear it would probably be useful but not necessary. Handy to have I’d say

I keep looking at them, cheapest at the moment is just over £100 on ebay if you are a nectar user, although I have seen them below £100 in the past

If you've already got a 5ah battery I think it'll be well worth it

I've just used the Ring variety over the last 20 years. Only needed 4 and my present item is still reliable after 4 years with plenty use.

Just a quick update Speedyian , I've just had one delivered!

Got from dvs power tools via ebay with 20% off bringing it down to £95 delivered.

Just tried it on a car tyre, and the van's rear airbags and I'm very impressed.

Really need to try on the air awning next

Decided to try it out on the smaller of my forklift truck tyres this afternoon, just out of interest

Initial pressure was 2.54 bar, set the compressor to 3.5 bar, and it took 2 minutes to reach 3bar, very impressed
