Deleted user

Just been looking at a thread and there is a post from Robert Clark and he is down as a deleted user, now I may be wrong or have the wrong name but is this the same person that was posting recently about steak on a cadac and did various posts about eating on his travels.
If so why is he suddenly deleted, how does this happen do you ask for it or what?
Or have I got completely the wrong bloke.

I think you have the right chap as he normally posts in the daily quiz and that has come up as deleted user.
I assume that he has done that himself for some reason.
What a shame as he is a great contributor to the forum.
