Dashboard switch meaning (1 Viewer)

[GJS2021]

Hi, We have a Benimar Mileo 243 Motorhome that we bought in 2019.
There is a switch that we are not sure about and can't find any referenc to it in the manuals.
When the switch is activated a green light comes on in the instrument panel.
This is what it looks like.

Any ideas?

I think it's the manual button for the hill holder/hill start. 2.5% for the manual, 7% for the comfortmatic. it's all part of the electronic stability control - ESC.

I think that's the 'UP' button.
It's to be used when a normal van is fully loaded, to keep it in lower gears for longer.
Have it switched on all the time. Your vehicle is always fully loaded compared to a delivery van.

Assume you've got a comfortmatic gearbox and as mentioned, it holds lower gears longer when going up hill. Thus helps maintain momentum. We generally keep ours activated if we're in hilly terrain, or come to a steepish slope on the motorway.

There should be information in the Fiat handbook (well there is in ours 2016).

As the above have said, hill assist when going upwards ... we've been making very good use of ours in Wales although we decided not to go up a 25% incline yesterday when it was pelting down with rain which was running down it like a waterfall especially since the road itself was just wide enough for our MH with rocks and trees either side and the start of it was on a bend ... we aren't easily deterred but we didn't fancy our MH ending up in a heap at the bottom again if we lost traction.

That sounded like a case for the T traction plus button as well as the uphill one.
