Morning all.
Any recommendations for a good damp meter................and which ones to avoid ?
Tom.

A quick search will throw up many recommendations. £30 ebay is a ball park target.

Avoid pin type ones get a paddle one usually referred to as non invasive. In addition to not doing any damage they can measure to a greater depth.

Lenny only ever seen the two pin type, any chance of a link to the paddle type

Here is a cheap one professional ones are £300-£400.

Interested to know why you want one as your Hymer is under warranty and it has aluminum sandwich walls the inner wall is aluminum so you won't be able to measure damp with a meter.

My prime motive for getting one is to damp check a property I’m looking at in France but also useful for checking the moho.

Yep, loads for sale on eBay, but I was looking for personal recommendations thanks

I asked what was good, and what do the professionals use. So I bought one of these. It also has a plug in probe withit so you can get in all places, so your spike/prob marks can be more subtle.
