Both packed when we were there last month. The Official Aire was full by 3pm as we had the last space. We drove by the Airfield the following day and they were parked on both sides with some in the middle.

The New Aire at Bennicassim by the main road is now full of parked cars and MH's have gone back to using the old parking area. Can get very busy if there is something on at the college and they park everywhere.

Seems January is definately a better time to go to spain
The airfield one wasnt bad when I was there only about 20 - 25 vans

The airfield near Grau was chock-a-block last week about 3ft between vans.
We spotted three Brits overnighting in Benicassim two nights ago at 40.0524018, 0.0758505

The official aire between the 340 & train station at Benicassim had a few spaces three days ago.

Glad to see the Castellon parking area by the airfield appears to still be open. There was more than a hint last year that Campsite proprietors in the area were pressurising the council to close it down. (I had a face-to-face with one of them who claimed that we had no right to be there and he backed down when I flagged a passing police car to get them to clarify the official position. We stayed.) I did however get the impression that they were going to lodge a banning order with the council and that it would only be a matter of time. Nice to know its still available.

Thanks for replying pleased to know the airfield is still open it's a lovely place for a couple of days while traveling South, the next stop would be cullera but there were as usual rumours that will be closed hope not that's ok for another couple of days.

Interesting approach to Castellon airfield, dodging the roundabout lamp-post. Our mode of transport was even more weight-limited than our Moho.
