Following an overcast morning on the island and feeling chilled to the bone, decided to take the doglets for a walk to try and warm up. after 30mins wandering, came back to the van only to smell the slight aroma of smoked haddock wandering across the field...... Opened the hab door only to find that Lovelykins has warmed up a tin of Batchelors Cullen Skink to warm me up....
.... cant stop burping haddock and the doglets don't like it........... cant help but suspect the MoHo now stinks of Haddock...!

I'm a seafood devotee and tried it a couple of times but found it's texture a bit 'slimy'.

I'd eat it. It seems better than the Norwegian dish of Lutafisk, which we ate with friends in Bergen.

(They then set us up with Smalahove. Google it 😂)

We like to sample the dishes in their respective homes.

Sounds disgusting and certainly not anything I’m allowing near/in my van

Can't beat Cullen Skink, or smoked haddock done in milk !

Aaaargh! I can't abide anything to do with hot, warm or cold milk ever since our 1/3rds at school break time had been left standing outside in the sun for hours and tasted off. That and the rancid smell from the crates of empties mouldering in the cloakroom.

If you are opening a tin of soup it's not going to taste much like the real thing is it. I NEVER buy canned beer because I can taste the can, glass bottles don't give a flavour to anything. So look for soup in a glass bottle maybe.
