After some tech advice re cruise control on Peugeot Boxer 2010 Nuevo. I Switch it on and then try to set speed but it just accelerates rather than sets at the cruise speed. So quite dangerous really. Before I go to a Peugeot dealer I just wandered if anyone else has had this issue . Ta

Not sure if it is the same as our 2017 based Boxer but on mine you twist it to turn it on (normally starts at current vehicle speed first time of operation) then lever up to increase speed and lever down (back) to reduce it.

Ours also has a speed limiter operation if you twist it the other way.

Here’s the manual for a 2018 boxer, I think it’s the same procedure. If you have the cruise control selected when you press the activation button, it appears that the vehicle will travel at the previous speed that been set.

Thanks for that, yes should work as per 2017 model, But sadly Fischer as when I set the speed the vehicle continues to accelerate rather they set at the current road speed.

Contacts inside need cleaning if its the same as mine (ducato). Fairly easy to remove and strip down.

Oops don’t know where Fischer came from! As said when I set the speed it continues to accelerate rather than set at chosen speed very disconcerting !

Thanks Marchie, might try some contact cleaner spray in the first instance.

Our 2012 Elddis would return to zero each time the engine was switched off. To set it when traveling at the desired speed just push the button on the stalk in, to cancel push again. To increase set speed push stalk away from you until desired speed is reached then release. Towards you to decrease. If you turn the knob to off (light goes out) then on again, push button in and release it should set at the speed you are travelling at as long as it is above 30 mph. If it keeps accelerating to more than 5 miles an hour above your set speed it is the moduale is faulty and not processing the info from the ecu.
