A few years now
I just noticed a split appearing on the shower plastic floor.
I`m not a big bloke but:ROFLMAO: --- i have to pick my little son to use the loo so
i think all the weight has done it.:Eeek:
Can i fix it or has it be replaced--it is a 15 year old Autotrail Scout ,so i don`t know if there are any around?
We never use the shower--i tried it once ,i felt as if i were a escape artist so maybe if not repairable we could board it over with carpet?

The shower tray will crack if the support has gone a bit soft allowing movement, so check that the underlying support is still firm before a repair or it will just happen again. :thumb:

Hi

This is a common problem, and is often a case of the tray not supported enough from underneath.
I replaced one making a platform underneath the new tray on a board with upstanding sides, that was supported from the base of the van, but that was so we could use the shower.

If you do not intend using then as you say a board with a mat would do, as long as you do not want it to hold water.
