Think if could be worth carrying for any emergency repairs???

Looks to be very versatile!

I have had a similar self amalgamating tape on board for some years .... not sure mine will stand the high temperature of an exhaust, but great insurance for many problem repairs.(y)

Hi

You say it looks very versatile, it can only be used wrapped back onto itself so that means you can only use it around a pipe, if you had an exhaust leak a coke can and a bit wire would cover that so it only leaves a water pipe leak, if you want to carry it for that it will most likely do a good job IF you ever need it.

Simple answer is yes - ideal emergency repair to water hoses whether on the vehicle or the hab side - we always carry a couple of rolls - having said that we have never used it but nor have we used a lot of things we keep just in case !!!
