Thinking of heading south for a few weeks, just wondering how busy it is at the moment.

Any funsters that way at the moment.

We’re on our way to Cornwall. Managed to get on Baltic wharf, then cadeside, not actually getting to Cornwall till Fri, so soz can’t help

Just returned from Dorset, I couldn't believe how busy everywhere was and very difficult to find a pitch.

If you need a stop off on the way there, Quackers has a lovely site.. Riverbankannie can you post the postcode please... I am only on my phone. Thank you.

Just spent 2 weeks in Cornwall and it’s very busy in towns but still able to keep yourself to yourself if need be.

At St Agnes Beacon site. Truro quite empty in the centre. We went to Fowey yesterday and that was very busy.. Weather turning now, Baltic wharf tomorrow for 2 nights.

Very quiet here, we have spaces available all week at our CL. Close to M4 Junction 18 if anybody needs a stop over.
Have fun.

very busy in cornwall last week, if you want to visit places like port isaac or boscastle you really need to get there early to get a parking space

In Cornwall, near Newquay at a CCC THS site. Journey down Friday/Saturday very very busy on A303, worse heading the other way. Loads of campers, but outnumbered by caravans 10/15 to 1. In spite of Jim’s new article it seemed at times as if every othe MH had a toad. Area quite busy, but appears to be room for everyone. Can highly recommend Cargate near Yeovil on A303 for quiet safe night stop if needed.

Been in Cornwall (Perranporth area) last 2 weeks very busy almost like the school summer holidays, but hopefully calmed down a bit by now.

Very quiet here, we have spaces available all week at our CL. Close to M4 Junction 18 if anybody needs a stop over.
Have fun.
Superb fresh eggs and honey as well, also available👍
We headed down to North Devon, after leaving Woodside, and surprised just how busy it has been. Will be interesting to see what the forth comming change of weather brings.

Have been on the caravan club site at Treamble Valley for 3 weeks leaving tomorrow. It has been really busy everywhere and a struggle for parking. However, I think it is starting to quiet down a little this week, I have never seen it so busy.

Still very busy in most visitor areas, weather is on the turn so that may see a few heading away from Cornwall, enjoy your visit but do be careful.

Have been in Devon and Cornwall for the last 3 weeks, should have been in Greece
Found it extremely busy, coastal towns rammed traffic heavy, narrow roads, not suited for large Motorhomes, no idea of social distancing
Campsites busy, have had to book ahead

Weather has been good, rain and cooler temperature forecast
So heading home to sunny Suffolk, not so many people about, and a lot less traffic.

Just had a fab couple of days at Praa Sands, parked overlooking the beach, busy but plenty of space.
Weather has turned a bit now and so on our way back, stopped off at Tintagel, never been before and it is extremely busy in the town, bit of a tourist honey spot.
Good parking though at King Arthur Inn right in the town, £4 for overnight so good value.
Before that we were at Heligan Camping, lovely friendly site and interesting gardens

Didn’t manage Cornwall last week As too booked up so went to wales instead, beautiful country and better roads

Calming down a bit here now the kids have gone back, but still busy. Lot of bookings for all sorts holiday of accommodation for Oct &Nov so I'm told.

Storm Alpha gonna hit Thursday says the Beeb Weather Man day time temps down to 13 c

About time for me to roll that big rock in front of the door and hibernate till next summer methinks.

I might change my mind and go to Scotland, sounds busy in the south.
