Hi
This might have been already covered but to avoid wobble what's best to fit Corner steadies and are they easy to fit on a swift Bolero or buy jacks plastic or metal and store them or just get over it and enjoy the ride?

We had corner steadies factory fitted. They do make quite a difference when it’s windy.

Here's a recent thread on the subject.

Never bother with them i removed them from my van we just ride it out

getting muddy wet knees doing the steadies is a contributory factor in why we dont have a caravan

Don’t need to get muddy knees with mine, they are chassis mounted and near enough to the sides to be used just by bending over. Help a lot with stabilising the vehicle

I wouldn’t be without, for us they make a big difference

AlKo corner steadies for us , great piece of kit .

the legs on my rapido tag axle are chassis mounted alko jobs, lowered by a brace on a nut below the skirt. Then you need to kneel down and put a spreader plate under the feet so they dont sink into soft ground. And again reversing the process to pack down. I never use them

If a spreader plate is required I throw it down, push it with the cranking handle to the correct place and then lower leg via the underskirt nut

Use mine most times, a couple of minutes at most, and no wobble. Easy decision for me.
