Silly question should they be sucking air in or out ? Got mine on top vent think blowing air in over vents been working amazing until 40 degrees today and almost stopped working the fans are flat out on the auto setting? Cheers matt

Sucking air through to keep cool😊

Fans can either blow into the bottom vent or out the top vent. This is just increasing the natural flow of heat rising. Most of us have our fans on the top vent, so they are blowing outward.

Swapped it around 🤞mind it was hot today removed the bottom vent completely to get it cooler, I’m sure I fitted it the correct way but removed it to fit clear cable ties a bit hung over and change it around 😂

Sucking out is safer. Fans blowing in could potentially blow fumes into the MH. In theory fridges are supposed to be sealed in but there are likely to be a few gaps. The risk may be low but it can be eliminated by setting the fans to suck. :)

May sound daft but turn fridge down rather than up it makes my fridge work better. 36 down here got fridge in no 3 and doing ok. Last year put it on 5 and it struggled
Maybe not so daft... A vast majority of fridges in caravan and motorhomes are not fitted properly with too much space at back and dont have the recommended baffle fitted to produce the chimney effect to give a good natural upward flow and therefore pushing heat out top vent..
If this is the case and you turn fridge up thinking it will be cool better all you are doing is producing more heat at back of fridge which is unable to escape and overwhelming the evaporator and condenser....However if you turn down, as you said Simon from 5 to 3 you are then producing less heat at back of fridge so fridge is much happier and back it its working zone...
