Might sound like a daft question, but does anyone know where the red cooling fan(s) relay is located on an X250 ???

According to eLearn they are in the engine control unit (engine fuse box):

The power supplies for the engine fans are operated by relays T07 and T06 respectively located in the engine compartment junction unit B001 along the lines protected by fuses F07 and F06 respectively also located in the engine compartment junction unit.

On the basis of the data supplied by the engine coolant temperature sensor K036 to pins 58 (signal) and 41 (reference earth) of connector A, the engine management control unit M010 energizes the relay coils, by means of a negative signal, closing the circuits and thereby supplying the fans.

heers.. I seem to be a bit dense when it comes to eLearn
TheBig1 has been most helpful with it, but I am still struggling !

I believe the relay is actually working but I am getting a fault code up saying it is not !]Once I have located it I will clean all the contacts and physically check it out of the van
