I would like a recommendation for a Carthago dealer based in continental Europe please.
This is to supply a new build as I don’t think we will find an off the shelf that we require.
I’m going to let a uk dealer quote as well though.

I believe that any warranty work has to be done by the supplying dealer with cathargo.
May be worth taking onto consideration.

Friend of ours had just taken delivery of a brand new e-line, Left hand drive on the new Mercedes tag axle chassis. He ordered it last September from the Düsseldorf show.
He used Go European, as they gave him the best deal. He was very happy with the whole process, especially with what is going on in the world....

We’ve just bought one from Southdowns in Portsmouth. It’s the second MH we’ve had from them and we really rate their service.

Why do you want to buy one abroad?

we travel abroad in the motorhome anyway so I could just incorporate a visit to the supplying dealer in a trip.

It’s not that I want to buy one abroad it’s just that im prepared to buy abroad if it saves me a chunk of cash.

I will add them to the list. Thank you.

We got a significantly better deal on our Carthago from Chelston than some of the other UK dealers.

Relance at Chichester are authorised for Carthago warranty work also N & B.

Cost I would think, bought all 3 of our Hymer abroad saved around £50k over the 3.

It’s good to know that we can get warranty work done in the uk if required.
To be honest it takes that long for parts to come in and then try to get a suitable slot from a dealer for repairs you may as well get it done abroad.

I love it when a Funster asks for recommendations for dealers abroad and replies come back with either...

A) Why not buy in the UK? or...

B) Giving names of UK ones!

JJ
He did say he was going to get a UK quote as well, so I see no harm in sharing experiences.
