Hello I know it's probably been covered but cannot find it. Trying to find out how to adjust my headlamp beams for continental driving in 2012 Hymer B690 Mercedes base. Is it done from rear of lights under bonnet or is there internal switch or are they preconfigured for both UK and EU. Any help much appreciated.

It's a few years now, but my 2013 had a small lever at the back of the light.

I f they are the Hella classic lamps you loosen the 3 screws on the rear and rotate the rear of the lamp as far as it will go.

If they are the newer type remove the rubber cover on the rear of the lamp and move the lever that you will find to one side of the lamp.

Both the above will adjust them to flat dipping so useable in UK and abroad.

Our fiat B694 sl 2013 has the almond eye headlamps. They have the transformer thingy behind them. On removing the rubber boot on the rear there is a small lever buried inside reached by a small finger. Might be best to take some photos as you cant get your head in there to see!
Not the easiest to change.

Many thanks for replies and help. Mine are projector style lamps with transformer type thing on rear. Could remove rubber boot ok but could neither see nor feel lever even with mirror or phone. Dipped beam appears quite flat so presume this should be ok for driving in France. Will probably only need to do one short journey as getting late ferry into France . After that it will be daylight driving only.

Interesting thanks. Does this apply any to any other van please, like C Class Fiats?
