We will soon have sold up and bought our motorhome. We will be getting all mail sent to family. We will be staying with family when not in motorhome. So here the question. We asked the people who will insure the motorhome about ebike and other stuff in the motorhome. They said they would be on. Home insurance but we won't have a home. So how do we insure them.

You can get separate insurance, but I don't bother. My view is that I take care not to have my toys stolen and, if the do get nicked, I'll stand the cost. Insurance is for those who want to be more casual and I think the premiums reflect that. E-bikes fall in value quite quickly. Remember to reduce their value each year (the underwriters will if you claim).

Are you taking out 'proper' full-timing insurance, if so I would have thought that would cover most stuff?
