Concertina blinds (1 Viewer)

We have these blinds in our Autocruise and after many years they are in need of a clean.
Anyone been successful at cleaning them?
They seem quite fragile.

Tricky to clean I would imagine but I did read on here of someone spray painting theirs. They said it worked well but maybe a bit drastic ?
