Comprehensive insurance in Russia

Hi all, does anyone know an insurance company or broker that can arrange comprehensive Motorhome insurance for a short stay in Russia? We are already there and found out quite quickly that this product is very hard to get in Russia now

I know that my old Caravan Club insurance included European Russia, i.e. west of the Urals. I had a Green Card for this and Ukraine a few years ago but we only got to Ukraine. Unfortunately their underwriter stopped offering this.

I think you may have to live with 3rd Party only which you may have already purchased at the border?

Where in Russia are you? We travelled by train from York to Vietnam last year and really enjoyed Russia

The only company to do it last year was Camping & Caravanning Club, it was an add on to our policy. Only snag the normal insurance was double what we normally pay!

You may have already done this but if not have a peek at the vantastic couple they went to Russia last year and have some interesting insights which may or may not be useful for you
