Comfort Insurance Slovenia An Croatia (1 Viewer)

hi guys bit of help please
Our insurance is due in June and we are planning 2 trips in next 12 months
First is depart early August till end October going down though
Germany Austria Slovenia into Croatia the back though Slovenia into Italy Switzerland Germany home

Then after Christmas back to Morocco done this already so that's easy to sort but

We have heard that insurance for Slovenia and Croatia could be a problem and after checking our insurance I can't find any exclusions for these country's
In fact on last years green card for morroco both Slovenia and Croatia are not crossed off meaning it would cover them

Any one checked with comfort or had dealings with them on this as I would like to sort it out before we re-insure for this year

I am going to on Monday
But a few have commented on missing out Slovenia due to insurance issues
The more information you have the better

What's the problem they are both in the EU Comfort cover all EU countries and many more.

I am trying to find a post from early part of this year where someone posted about problems not with Croatia but Slovenia and had to buy insurance on entry and something comes to mind it was comfort that refused them insurance
as they did not have a resipical agreement with Slovenia
And someone else went by ferry into Croatia from Italy to avoid Slovenia

Or am I dreaming

Yep you are dreaming.

I think you are confusing Slovenia with Serbia.
Serbia is half way down Croatia there is a 15km corridor you have to cross to get to Dubrovnik which it is difficult to get insurance for and easier to take a short very ferry crossing to miss it.

It would appear you are correct but it's Bosnia not Serbia
Serbia is land locked
We are are only planning on going down as far as Split
I found the post I was looking for and it was a couple going down to Greece

Thanks to all for you help still got to ring comfort to renew so will ask the question and I need to sort out recovery as well

We done the very same countries in 2014. We experianced no problem crossing into any country,particulary Slovenia.
I would recommend both lake Bled and Ljubiana in Slovenia, a stunning place, as is Croatia.
