Comfort Full time Policy.. Rant!

Insurance due next Saturday..
Just had a "courtesy" call ... As I'd ingnored their emails...

Anyway... As I'm on lock down.. I asked a question regarding my 10k per anum mileage limit.. wanting to reduce it to 5k.. bearing in mind I was specifically asked about mileage when I originally went f/t..
5k being on offer... but I elected 10k with a bigger premium to pay..

Only to be told that there is no mileage limit on f/t policies now!!!

So I asked if my policy was unlimited.. no!.. I'd have to pay more.... And I had been on a "good deal" .....

I distinctly remember the mileage discussion...

My premium has been £1300 yr1..
£998 yr2... £1100 yr3... And currently asking for £1146..

Any other f/tr's had similar?...

I feel they're taking the pish!!. As they effectively have me over a barrel ?

AIB do fulltimer insurance, its the same underwriter but they might be able to help. AIB give Funsters a discount too. While Comfort will not.

Spoke with AIB.... even with discounts... couldn't match Comfort...

Have spoken with a number of "other specialist" insurers and draw a blank when I explain "Full time" ...

So back to Comfort I guess..

For full time insurance those prices seem good to me, I pay around £640 for a campervan, 15000 mile limit, son is paying around the same for an oldish pickup both as only vehicle.

Good price I was paying £1700 and that was 2013
